Synthetic Rubber Adhesive

Synthetic rubber based adhesive, also known as SBR adhesive or simply rubber adhesive, is an effective synthetic bonding solution for a variety of applications.

Available in both flammable and non-flammable versions, our synthetic rubber based (SBR) range has been developed to suit numerous applications and offers a variety of tack times, making it suitable for use in a wide range of industries.

Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) is the most widely used synthetic rubber in adhesives and our range of SBR adhesives have been specially formulated for bonding synthetic foams, fabrics and insulation materials to a variety of substrates by a method of spraying or brushing. SBR adhesives are used extensively in the foam and furniture market, insulation market, general product assembly and the carpet industry.

SBR adhesive is also ideal for the bonding of aluminium foil to plasterboard, rockwool and other insulation materials. The chemical makeup of this type of adhesive means there is a wide flexibility in terms of tack times and the adhesive has good heat resistance properties.
